GREL until November, 2019 operated a rubber processing factory called GREL-APM with an annual production of 50,000 tons/year situated at Apimenim in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region of the Republic of Ghana.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Industry under the One District One Factory Initiative, GREL recently commissioned the first phase of the rubber processing factory called GREL TBU at a cost of € 25,000,000.00 which has the capacity to produce 25,000T per year.
On completion of the final phase in 2027 at a cost of € 25,000,000.00, the final production capacity of the factory will be 100,000T per annum and this will bring the total production of GREL to 150,000T per annum from 2027.
