GREL, as part of its initiative to promote education within its catchment area, welcomed some five hundred (500) basic students in primary one (1) to primary three (3) by providing them with school uniforms and stationery, including exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, and pencil cases.
The beneficiary students for this year were from Dadwen, Avrebo, Apemenim, Princess Town, Nyanso, Nsemaba, Tumentu and Abase, all in the Western Region. Students from Dwabor and Eguafo in the Central Region also benefitted. This brings the total number of students who have benefitted from the “Back to School” initiative since it was started three (3) years ago to Two Thousand Five Hundred (2500).
