In the year 2022, GREL–Apimenim factory produced 12430
tons of special Natural Rubber (NR) product, referred to as “VKOR”. During this period, GREL
improved its production processes and associated quality checks such that:
- No VKOR rubber was rejected by customers.
- GREL produced one of the least non-conforming products among its competitors.
- The performance of GREL on extractable HNS, a product specification
linked to VKOR, was the best.
Based on the performance above; Société Des Matières
Premieres Tropicales Pte Ltd (SMPT), the sole natural rubber buyer for the
Michelin Group and the No1 customer for GREL; therefore, adjudged GREL as “the
benchmark supplier of VKOR grade in 2022 among all VKOR suppliers
worldwide”.
