His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa AKUFO-ADDO, President of the Republic of Ghana, met the SIFCA Group Executive Committee and the managers of its rubber sector on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Mr. Alassane DOUMBIA and Mr. Pierre BILLON, who were leading the delegation, assured the Ghanaian authorities of the constant commitment of the Ivorian Group to strengthen its activities, to increase the production of natural rubber produced in Ghana.
The Chairman of the SIFCA Group’s Board of Directors revealed the full potential of the rubber activity as profitable both to the national economy and to private farmers planters, based on the same model as the one developed by the Group in Côte d’Ivoire.
Regarding investments, Ghana is already an important market, and 50,000 (direct and indirect) jobs are generated by SIFCA.
SIFCA regularly invests in education, health, and access to drinking water, for the benefit of the ninety rural communities in the regions of the West, Center, and East in Ghana
